We made it to 20 issues! As you may have seen, we recently made some changes, which we hope you agree have been positive!. The Figurementors Magazine – Historical Edition Issue 20 brings you more of the same great articles! Learn how to paint figures with stunning tutorials from the experts.
We hope the new name for the magazines have not confused you too much and that the tweaks to our design and the new cover price, are all welcome.
FIGUREMENTORS MAGAZINE – WE HOPE TO CONTINUE TO SET THE BAR AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE.
We knew going monthly would be a massive undertaking by the team. However, we are confident that it is a good move! In order to stay relevant and up to date, a monthly magazine makes more sense. We really hope this is something our customers will appreciate.

In The Figurementors Magazine – Historical Edition Issue 20 we interview award-winning historical figure painter extraordinaire Steve Jourdain who has a real passion for history. We review the relatively new Scale 75 Artist Acrylics and present the winners of Planet Figure, “figure of the month” competition. Then there is our Putty & Paint gallery and we still have our four sensational tutorials up our sleeves!
Julio Cabos provides the Figurementors Magazine with its cover story this month. Julio is a real legend within our community and we are stoked to feature him. He describes his process for painting a Tercio from Scale 75 based on the amazing Artwork of Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau.
FIGUREMENTORS MAGAZINE AND MORE CONTENT!
Chang Chung-Fu is an expert diorama creator and provides us with his process for creating a Western Front scene. This time incorporating a number of Tommy’s War releases to create an atmospheric WWI snapshot in time.
Vladimir Golubev delivers a beautiful rendition of a Guard during the retreat of Moscow, 1812. His use of colour theory really helps to enforce the narrative.
Finally, Danielle Petrucci explodes onto the scene his with his immaculate rendition of the iconic Celt, originally released through Elite Miniaturas and now remodelled by FeR Miniatures.
