We would like to start by saying thank you for your support during these troubled times. The cold, dark nights of winter are drawing in and we hope that our magazine provides you at least some solace. Welcome to The Figurementors Magazine – Fantasy Edition Issue 18. 


We have been working very hard to maintain and excel the standards we have set ourselves. This issue has a wealth of informative material. Any figure painter can improve their artistic skills by reading Figurementors magazines because you will learn from top fantasy and historical Artists in every issue. Each issue is aimed to inspire and teach. With that in mind, there is every chance you can learn something new from our Historical Editions too.

We have articles from Steve Garcia, Kristian Simonsen, Javier Molina, and because its Christmas there is a bonus piece from Natalia Oracz. . Finally, our stunning cover story is brought to you by the super talented though possibly little known Sergey Papkov.

In this Issue

Sergey Papkovprovides our cover story with this bumper, Christmas issue with his rendition of Vol’jin the Shadow Hunter! 

Steve Garcia – uses lighting and special effects to create motion in his scene depicting a Nomad Zondnautica (Corvus Belli). 

Kristian Simonsen – completes his atmospheric and brutal version of Kraksus, Lord of Chaos. 

Javier Molina – returns to our pages once more, showcasing more of the fantastic products from GreenStuff World, creating a vignette titled Urban Hunters. 

Natalia Oraczmakes her debut and has written an in-depth and informative account on how to master Textures and Values in your miniature painting. 

Javier Gonzalez Lozano – we interview one of the big names in our community about everything miniature related.
