Magnus is a renowned figure painter from Sweden. His first international exhibition took place as early as 1998 at the now sadly defunct Euromilitaire. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades on the competitive painting circuit, including multiple gold medals at SMC, Monte San Savino, and the World Model Expo, as well as the prestigious Best of Fantasy award at SMC. Over the years, he has also served as a judge at some of the most esteemed and influential shows. Known for his exquisite figure painting, Magnus has earned widespread praise for his beautiful colour harmony and muted ambience. As a result, some of the leading figure manufacturing companies frequently commission him to create box art.

This workshop has been designed to benefit all skill levels. During the weekend, you will paint Kraksus from Black Sun Miniatures. Magnus personally chose this bust because it showcases the various elements of the workshop structure outlined below. Throughout the workshop, students will receive support and encouragement as we break down the process into stages, including teaching, demonstrations, and practical exercises. You will learn essential techniques to paint a fantasy bust with harmony, depth, and atmosphere.
