Francesco is a highly skilled miniatures artist, instructor, and competition judge from Italy. With years of experience in the industry, he has earned numerous accolades, including the two Slayer Swords and a host of other Golden Demon awards. In 2019, he also won Crystal Brush Best in Show. Francesco is Art Director for Kimera Models and has been a key organiser of the Monte San Savino show since 2007.

This workshop will focus on mastering fundamental techniques, furthering understanding of colour theory, painting different materials and tackling Non Metallic Metal. In addition, Francesco will present his theories on interpretation and storytelling, whilst reinforcing the vital relationship between light and colour. Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or deepen your understanding of figure painting, this class promises an immersive and enriching experience with one of the best in the field. With over a decade of teaching experience, Francesco has an incredible way of bringing out the very best results in his students.

This two-day workshop is designed to be both informative and practical, with a focus on (but not limited to) COLOUR THEORY, NON METALLIC METAL, INTERPRETATION and STORYTELLING.

Students will be painting the Kimera Models 75mm Green Knight which is included in the ticket price. Black Sun Studios will provide homemade sandwiches, bottled water, tea and coffee free of charge.
